Is check/calling this flop standard 250x deep ?
As played do you like checkraising or leading better?

I guess checkraising is better, because I can get more money from his str8, and I don't really need to worry about fds, because there are only 7 fd outs that do not make my house.

How would you play blank turn? How about K ?

Player 5 looked reggish, no postlop reads.

I'd c/r flop, now I'd lead so he can't check behind better sets, flush draws or anything else we want value from. Probably the only way we'll get 2 more streets of value from anything we beat really. He's probably raising a straight sometimes anyway.

Thanks for the reply.

I agree with leading the turn, but I do not understand checkraising the flop.

I cant imagine him giving me action with a lot of hands that I beat. If stacks go in on the flop he will either have KJ with some redraws, or stuff like top set + fd which is ahead of me anyway. Plus the stacks are really deep and I am pretty much telling him that I have KJ, and there are quite a few turns that will suck for me (any heart, A, Q, T).

Isnt it better to wait for a safe turn before checkraising ? I will underrep my hand, he will still valuebet all his 2pairs, sets, big draws. He migh semibluff some some fds, fds+sds. I think there are a lot of hands that fold to my flop checkraise, which would vbet the turn if I just check/call ?

If a raise in that spot from you is always KJ you're doing something wrong. You should have all kinds of fun blockers and stuff in your c/r range.
