So at the end of a tournament, you are heads-up with a live bad player. You are both about 13-15 big blinds deep. The other person will almost always call a pre-flop raise sized 2x-3x. There isn't really room for post-flop play. What strategy would you use to maximize your chances? Or is this just a crapshoot? |

expect we are probably just playing pretty nitty (i dunno like 40-50% open?), and raising big when we have good hands, like 3x or w/e, and minning the rest of our playable hands, and just vtowning him all day long? - since we should be owwwnnningggg him post
ohh yeah, maybe just open our quite good hands and limp alot more up to like 70% or something? also another option i guess
i dunno this is just what im guessing though, not really much of a short or mtt player =) |

i like opening to 6 bb/calling it off and just hoping they fold hands like J7o Q2 the first 2-3 hands and letting that ride to victory.
i find making it 6 bb is better than open shoving, because you are obviously trying to steal, and sometimes they will be like "fu im just gonna call." but if you make it 6 bb they are like "wow i can't shove Q2" and "wow i can't call with Q2"
e.z game.

a live bad player wiill likley fold a hand like K5o or Q8o to a shove 13bb deep, therefore stop looking at your cards and shove 100% of your hands, by the time he calls he will likley have less then 5-6bb and you will be in a 60-40 |

you're probably right doomer, but live poker has the potential to get ridiculously personal and i've seen "spite calls" with shit and their logic is like "i was tired of folding, i put you on AK but i will call you wtih JT) |
