This week brought us many interesting match-ups in the high stakes games. With the likes of Durrrr, Isildur1, Cole South, Brian Hastings and Ziigmund playing against each other, nothing less than awesome could be expected.
It all started on Monday when Isildur1 played Ziigmund in $300/$600 and $500/$1000 PLO games. After 1045 hands, the Swede came out as the winner as he crushed Ziigmund for $1.04 million dollars. The biggest pot of the session was worth $423K. It was a 5-bet pot in which Isildur1 raised all-in after he hit a set on the flop and was called by Ziigmund, who expected his Aces to do the service. Unfortunately for him neither turn or river changed his fate.
On a funny note, after taking that beating, Ziigmund told Isildur1 to donate his [ziigmund's] money to Hastings. Ironically that's what happened. Isildur1 played Hastings at the same games as he played Ziigmund, but results were very different. He lost a total of $543k to the Card Runners instructor. But that wasn't his only defeat that day. The Swede also faced Justin Bonomo and Cole South and suffered losses to both players, losing $235k to Bonomo and $81k to Cole South. These were PLO sessions as well.
One day later, Isildur1 met the same players again. His first opponent was Cole South, they started at $100/$200 and progressively increased the blinds until $300/$600 later in the session. As HighStakesDB reports say, Isildur1 was never behind during this session. He just saw his winnings increase until the mark of $785,000, and that's when Cole South decided he had enough. On this very same day, Isildur1 took on Brian Hastings again and took $550,000 off him. That plus a match against Justin Bonomo made him net close to $1.4 million profit on that day.
The most epic day of Isildur1's rollercoaster run was Wednesday. He played Cole South, Durrr, ZeeJustin and OMGClayAiken and had one of the most swingy days ever in online poker.<A name="cutnews"></A> The day had a promising start for him as he faced Cole South and left with $460k more in his cashier after 994 hands. After that he met Durrrr, whom he used to dominate. This time, though, Durrr had the upperhand and destroyed Isildur1 for close to a million dollars. It was a 6-tabled $300/$600 PLO session which was completely ruled by Durrrr.

Having a deficit of slightly over $500,000, Isildur1 played ZeeJustin and beat him up for almost $600k, which kind of evened Isildur1's winnings up in the day. Unfortunately for him he still played OMGClayAiken later and took another beating. They played $300/$600 and $500/$1000 PLO in what turned up to be Isildur1's biggest session in that day. OMGClayAiken earned $1.6 million from Isildur1 in a match that had some of the biggest pots of the week.
Regardless of this tough day, Isildur1 still have a positive winnings record in 2010. That's a good sign for those who like to watch his relentless game.
