** Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week **

The winning hand of this week is one of those jaw-dropping bluffs we see from time to time. This one was played by gawdawaful, who has had his hands presented in our weekly bulletin multiple times. Gawdawaful was playing a short-handed NL100 game with an effective stack of $232. Holding Q2s, he starts with a raise, which is reraised by villain. Gawdawaful calls and both players see the flop of 9-9-4. Villain fires a cbet and gawdawaful raises, villain 3bets and our hero calls. A five falls on the turn and villain bets another time. Holding nothing but queen-high, our hero decides to put some more pressure on his opponent by moving all-in, forcing his opponent out of the pot!

Runner-up: The next hand was played by FrinkX in a $1/$2 6-max game. Holding a pair of nines, Frinkx acts right after the villain and reraises his original raise, after which the villain calls. The flop comes T-5-2 and villain check-calls FrinkX's bet. The turn brings a four, after which the villain changes his line and bets to get a call by FrinkX. The river is a three, which makes it likely that a straight is complete. Villain fires an almost pot-sized bet, but FrinkX shows how good his reading ability is and makes the call. Our hero's pocket nines were good enough to win the pot, as villain showed QJ for a busted bluff!

** Tournament Performances **

Our user Drakk takes the Tournament Performance-award this week. He put on a sick performance in the $11 turbo at PokerStars and took down the event, which offered $6,006 to the first place. Drakk reached the final table as the chip leader and completely dominated his opponents, as you can see in our railing thread. The tournament had 3824 entrants and lasted for almost four hours. Congrats on such a nice victory, Drakk!

i took first in $50 freezeout, good for $10500 but i was banned at the time so didnt have a rail thread ;( {banned for fowl language not for scamming!}
