** High Stakes Hand of the Week **

The high stakes hands of this bulletin were all played by Eric "Peachy_keen/n0rthf4ce" Liu. The first, is a $25/$50 PLO hand. Holding 2d-Qd-Jc-Qh, Peachy calls a pre-flop 3bet from villain. The flop comes TJ2 with two spades and villain fires a cbet. Peachy calls and both players see an ace of diamonds fall on the turn. Villain fires a second barrel and Peachy calls again. The river is a king of spades, which completes Peachy's straight, but also makes a flush possible. Villain bets pot and puts some pressure on Peachy. After requesting time, Peachy calls and takes down a close to $15,000 pot, as villain shows 9898 for a busted straight draw.

Villain fires a barrel and Peachy calls. The turn brings a king, villain fires a second barrel and Peachy just calls. The river drops a four of hearts. Villain goes all-in. Holding just third pair, Peachy calls for the third time. Villain turns up pocket tens, which were not enough to beat our hero's pair of jacks!

Peachy calls over three streets to win a $39,398 pot!

** Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week **

This hand is one of those really tough calls to make with A-high. gororokgororok was playing a six-handed $1/$2 game when he was dealt AQs in the small blind. kaader raised to $6, and villain called. In his turn, our hero raised to $26, the original raiser folded and villain called again. The flop came 4-K-2, all hearts, and both players checked. The turn brought a seven of clubs. gororok fired a bet, villain flat called. The river was a five of clubs. gororok checked and villain fired $80 into $124. Put to a decision on a dangerous board, against a tough to read opponent, gororok makes a brave call and takes down a big pot, as villain showed just A8.

Runner-up: The next hand was played by Spitfiree in a $0.25/$0.50 game. Holding 45o, he raises and gets called by villain. Both players see the flop of 7-4-2, which gave our hero bottom pair. Villain checks and calls Spitfiree's bet. A queen falls on the turn, villain fires a bet and Spitfiree calls. The river brings another queen and pairs the board. Villain makes it hard for Spitfiree and shoves all-in, but our hero shows great reading skils and makes a sick call to win the pot!

** Tournament Performances **

The tournament performance award of this week goes to our friend Robinson47! He took down the $55 freezeout, which drew a 1,000 player turn out. Late in the tournament, Robinson crushed his opponents, as you can see by his stacksize in the hands posted in the railing thread! First place prize was worth $9,400 . Congrats, Robinson!

those are some nice hands

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time
