After exactly 10 hours hours of play, the FTOPS Event #11 has finished. With its $1000+$60 buy-in and $1.500.000 guaranteed prizepool, it was one of the biggest (and most expensive) events of this Full Tilt Online Poker Series. With 1469 entrants there's a slight overlay to the tournament.

Coming into the final table, Evan "FrinkX" McNiff was second in chips and with a lot of shortstacks at the table he was playing confident. Those shortstacks busted out pretty quickly and they were down to three, with FrinkX (playing under the nickname "RHINOWNED" still second in chips. Chipleader at that time (and actually throughout the entire final table) was "agriffrod" and MlapSnarf was the shortstack, with just a little less than FrinkX' stack. When they got all-in on a AQJT-board, they both split the pot as FrinkX KK was no better than MlapSnarf's straight with K7o. That same player later gets knocked out in a painful hand, going all-in preflop with he's slightly ahead of agriffrod's , but the board brings 4 hearts to give agriffrod the flush and that means him and FrinkX were heads-up for the title with agriffrod holding a 5:2 chiplead. The key hand of the evening is yet another suckout. When both players get it in, FrinkX's is well ahead of agriffrod's but the comes on the turn meaning that FrinkX finishes second, and ships $204,000 . Unfortunately that doesn't come with a golden jersey and special avatar, but there's always the warm and comfy limited edition FTOPS jacket coming his way.
Congratulations on another outstanding performance Evan!
