Another interesting confrontation at Poker After Dark this week: the "Nets vs Vets" started yesterday. There has always been some tension between internetpro's and live players, and now there's a match between them. 3 Internetpro's will be playing 3 live poker veterans, all players considered amongst the very best of their league. During this week, NBC will be broadcasting this $20.000 winner-takes-all event, featuring internetpro's Brian "sbrugby" Townsend, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Andrew "good2cu" Robl ("The Nets" and live pokerpro's Johnny Chan, Huck Seed and Doyle Brunson ("The Vets". WSOP broadcasting started
Last night, ESPN has broadcast the first episode of the World Series of Poker. It featured event 1, the $10.000 Pot Limit Hold'em World Championship. It features a very strong final table with Kathy Liebert, Mike Sexton, Chris Bell, Mike Sowers, Phil Laak, Patrik Antonius, Amit Makhija, Andy Bloch and Nenad Medic. I would like to hear the opinion of better tourney players (the majority here ) on the T9 vs AA river flat call, after checking that turn I thought he would get in a river raise...

I watch last night's episode on NBC and I found it pretty boring... PAD cash game was 100xtimes better, I also watch WSOP episode 1 last night on ESPN, so sick to be in the U.S. right now :D
