 Eric Lindgren has filled for a personal bankruptcy for a second time in last 3 years. PokerStars (as Amaya Gaming) is still seeing to recover around $2,500,000 owed to FullTiltPoker, while the poker player himself shows that his assets total for just around $50,000.
Lindgren first filled bankruptcy in 2012 after losing few millions dollars on sports betting. Even despite he won around $200,000 in the Millionaire Maker event at WSOP this year, he still owes an insane amount of money and is not looking to get out of his debts any time soon.
He was loaned money by Chris Ferguson and by mistake he was wired the cash (in the amount of $2mln) twice. He then proceeded to stay quiet and keep the entire sum.
The $2,500,000 he owes to PokerStars is a result of old debt to FullTiltPoker before PokerStars purchased FTP. PokerStars bought up this $2m debt when it acquired Full Tilt's assets, and is also claiming Lindgren has failed to pay up on a separate $531,807 loan.
After 2012 bankruptcy, Lindgred was left with en estimated $8mln in unpaid debt.
