Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom is mostly known for his reckless style at cash games, but he's certainly enjoying all the recent success has been having at tournaments. After taking down the PCA High Roller for over a million, Isildur1 has won two SCOOP events the first three days of the Spring Championship of Online Poker. He started off on Sunday, when he took down the $215 No Limit Hold'em event for $247,200. Less than 24h later he played the final table of the $530 + R NL Hold'em 6-max event and claimed his second SCOOP title, winning $160.000.
Shortly after the wins Isildur1 posted a tweet about the titles, but made it clear that he's more concerned about cash games: @RealIsildur1: Nice to win the two scoops, can't have a single winning day in PLO tho, don't know what I'm doing wrong there .. #SCOOP2012"
In spite of his "complaint", Isildur1 is up a solid $500k in cash games in 2012.
ESPN Releases 2012 WSOP Broadcast Schedule
ESPN has released the broadcasting schedule for this year's WSOP. The Main Event final table will run near-live once again which is certainly something that poker fans around the world will enjoy. In addition, every player at the MEFT will have his hole cards shown in every hand. ESPN also announced that the Final table of the Big One for One Drop ($1,000,000 event) will air live on July 3rd.
The Big One for One Drop and the WSOP National Championship will be the only preliminary events to be shown on ESPN. This continues a trend that has started in 2008, when ESPN began to decrease the number of events on TV.
ESPN will begin airing the Main Event episodes on August 14th and continue until only the final table episode airs on October 30th.
