He defeated Neeriukaas from the Netherlands in the heads-up and collected the $21 + $22 ticket first prize. Fourteen player showed up to play today, creating a $42 + $55 prizepool. The top 3 players were paid and the top 5 got tournament tickets.
The chip lead changed hands a few times during the course of the heads-up. Just ten hands before the end, Neeriukaas was leading the match with 13995 chips against samwieszkto9's 7005 chips. After seeing a    flop, samwieszkto9 moved all-in with   and found himself in big trouble when Neeriukaas made the call with   . A  on the river gave samwieszkto9 the help that he needed and he not only survived but recaptured the chip lead.
Just a few hands later the match was over. samwieszkto9 check-raised all-in with   on the    flop and Neeriukaas called with pocket Eights. The turn and river brought no help to Neeriukaas and samwieszkto9 became the newest champion of our Weekly League tournament! Neeriukas received $12.60 + $11 (ticket) and Thyrandaal, who finished in 3rd place, earned $8.40 + $11 (ticket).
