i miss those interviews. how come LP stopped doing them? those were fun to read and had that old SC feel to it.
it would be nice to get back some of that old school gamer like mentality in this site. |

also there seems to be a constant anti american sentiment, which i can understand to a point, but many of our valuable contributors were also american, and it seems that a lot of our old contributors either got out of poker, or just dont ever log in. i miss twisted echo. mig. nutshot. all the tourney guys |

also the mindset of the people here. poker used to be fun whatever stakes you played. and everyone just wanted to learn and improve. and when you have a community of like minded people like that, that mentality rubs on you and inspires you to try with the best of your abilities.
now i notice everyone is cynical and seem to hate the people doing well in poker, getting jealous of the money they've won. as before those people who reached highstakes were the ones to aspire to become.
i remember when daut went on to win a wpt title. that really inspired me to be a good player. i never reached that level he has but it sure did make me a lot of money in poker by trying. |
