villain told me later he had J8
what hands u think villain is limping preflop, raising my flop bet, calling the turn a potting river?
AQ and AJ would raise preflop
QJ dont raise flop
there's no flush draw on the flop, the only draw on the flop is the hand that I have
for me this is A8 or J8 always
he plays 45/7 = passive fish |

srsly man, the fish has shown up here with literally everything.
The point is that your hand is too strong to ch fold in this spot, you at the very least have to call imo ... some times he has it too, but i would not fold a hand strong as this to the fish |

uhhh, any ace, any 8, kj, kq, qj, a ton of stupid shit. Without some serious reads I'm never folding this. 45/7 doesn't tell us shit about his post flop play. Your line makes 0 sense too so if he is aggressive postflop ever I'd expect to see a ton of stupid bluffs, weak made hands here. |

ur turn raise is too small man, ur missing tons of value with that raise
river does suck, dunno not rly going to give an opinion on river play beyond it seems like you need to call with these odds
probably better to bet/fold |

no... passive means he is not aggro...
people that are generally not aggro don't show strength without actually being strong...
Thus - him being passive means it's more reason for us to fold...
However, regarding the hand - I'm not really sure...
Sure - his line might sound similar to what you explained, but seeing how loose/passive he is pre might suggest that he's limping AJ? or just any random 8...
With a random 8 he might have a flushdraw on turn, hitting a 3rd eight on river...
Just speculation - not sure how often he has those types of hands...
I think you should definately bet river...

bet/fold is best.

even if we give him 100% combos of AA/JJ (not QQ because he reraised the flop) its still a very easy river value bet |

What Daut said. |

I mean - now you make him check a lot of hands that would have called a river bet. It's pretty bad if you think about it. Sure there are hands that beat you, but they are always valuebetting river (and maybe not that many hands that you beat).
Makes it so much easier to play. |

if he limps at all, it means he is a fish, and thus his limping range can be anything
some fish limp AK/A4s, some 62o, some only AA, he can have anythiing pf |
|
| Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol | |
