Why are you betting 7.5 on river, that just screams I've got JJ-KK and want your 10x to call me praying I don't have Ax.

Just checkit back, you're not valuebetting or bluffing on river, just retard betting.

I think by checking back we lose alot of value from Tx and JJ-QQ, maybe even 99. And what aces could he have there? like AT only, i highly doubt hands like A5s. i like a halfpot bet/fold, not many people at nl50 will bluff the river after we fired three streets

yeah, he probably thinks "oh that's a good bluff card for him, I'd better call with JT!" so halfpot is good. 7,5 is good too imo.

If its a bet then its at least a $13+ bet IMO, the $7.50 just basically gives his hand away

Or he could just think, oh fuck an Ace, he must have one, I fold with my JT. So I guess it depends if you think he is capable of thinking that this is a good card to bluff and thus look you up. Pretty sure that lot of players at NL50 (not saying majority) would not.

sorry for shitty english.Last edit: 24/08/2011 07:17

Most people won't do anything about it though. You need to think about what level villain is on, if it's level 1 which is not very uncommon this bet is very good actually.

Larger bet is good vs Level 2 guy who will put you on a bluff a ton. The bet size is very villain dependent here
