What are you gonna do if another q or j pops up? Fold? You're pot commited anyway. Why do you possibly wanna give the donkey another card? To get all his money in? It just doesn't make sense, he calls a pre-flop re-raise, he min-raises on the flop and you min-reraise him on top of that? He would call any bet with what's left of his stack if he has anything (which he doesn't but that's why he's a donk). If he doesn't have anything he folds and you got free money. He could have QQ/JJ as wel or even QJ. |

you want him to make a BIG MISTAKE by calling. if he calls getting 25:4 or almost 6:1 on a 5-out draw, then that's almost correct with direct pot odds, plus he has implied odds to get the rest of his stack in later when he hits.
edit: actually even with full implied odds for the rest of his stack i don't think he's profiting on a 5 out draw. still...
don't you see how you allowed him to play CORRECTLY (or at least nearly correctly) by minreraising the flop? if you want him to play INCORRECTLY, then force him to make a BIG MISTAKE. |
