This is the hand from our session, but it's so wild I wanted to look at it again.
My general questions here are- I assume we bet JJ+ .. why check behind AK? Would you check behind T9 or hearts?
I just don't really understand the check behind as much. I'm thinking that trickier players will check/raise this flop a lot since it's so draw heavy? What about vs. a straight forward player (this guy seemed pretty straight forward as I recall), still check behind?
Also, what are our general lines when he leads this flop or leads this turn? It's probably too many questions/situations to ask here.. but my general understanding of these 3b spots is pretty weak so I'm just unloading questions on you.
if he leads i would fold
if he leads this turn after we check flop i would fold
we check because its likely to hit his range and we can get c/r by a draw. also we wont know if he c/c's what the hell he could have so if he is straight forward and he checks turn esp this one we can assume he is weak and bluff rivers like this one
we bet to obv fold out like 2s or something and so he cant see hsi hand and we can easily have a AQ, QK if u remember he timed down to like nothiung and made a crying call with a set
