I don't know much about this player other than that he is probably a losing player. Is this a good spot to fire on the turn.. or should I be basically giving up when he calls the flop?

I was thinking I'd fold out Kx, and lower pairs on the turn. It looks like he has something like a set here though.
yeah he's def strong and basically looks like A8 or a set and I think your barrel is good and here the bet size is ok...36 is a little better I think here. You fold out all the 8x mid pp hands and possibly some Kx hands
