This guy and I had been going back and forth for a while now over several boards. His min raise on the flop is a pretty strong indication of a cbet snap off to me. I call here with the intention of just shoving if he checks. My real question here is, do I need to full shove this for maximum fold equity.. or could I have gotten away with a smaller bet?

Forgot to add player stats. He was a winning player and had somewhat higher vpip/pfr and didn't fold to 3b's that much. I 3b for value here pf.

i would say a full shove here is best since its just slightly more then pot and you should do it with AJ+ to balance it if think he might hero call it with hisotry

he was UTG so I would assume he has a mid PP here a lot and wouldn't do this unless I was pretty certain he would fold (which you probably were)

the next step is now if he c/r a normal amount like 3x in the future determining if it is a bluff or nuts
