I don't understand why you checked flop and allowed a free card and then bet when a third diamond hit.. representing the flush?

I bet this flop out 100% of the time especially reraising with AK

he didn't have the betting lead...and opponent was short and re-rasied big, diamond draw probly not part of his range. checking gives more chance for opponent to make a mistake. at this stack size, once the king hits money is going in no matter what.

I bet flop here, free turn = nono. Top pair, top kicker. He probably would have folded the flop before he saw another diamond.
