definitely value bet the river. if he had a set, hed probably be betting the turn harder, and value betting the river himself. You have to put him also on a strong ace, AK-A9. Your ahead extremely often in this situation, AND your opponent will call a value bet with AQ AJ, and will call a really large value bet with AT or A9. I'm pushing all-in at this river. |

I would definitely bet the river. Inless you have seen him do it before not many people check the river trying to check raise. |

It just seemed fishy to me. Weak bet on the turn, followed by a check on the river.. I guess I could've value betted.
I'm always scared people don't call huge raises, and that I don't get value out of my hand. I also think a push on that flop with just TPTK, is kind of dangerous.
I'm new to 100NL so the money numbers sometimes scare me a bit still. |
