Do I always assume that minraisers are bluffers on these stakes? After him calling my turnraise i understand that I cant win the hand by betting so I just checked the river. What is he looking for here, can someone just give an explanation on our play and ranges here? No real stats on him

always respect your opponent is what I have learned, in a hard way. Especially your hand is in the middle zone in this case, you only have one top card. I would just call turn as played.

I think if I were you I would have just folded flop because my hand was trash.

Yeah, I constantly try to remind myself that I'm probably playing against a legit player every hand I play. Thing is i was BB and got good odds and felt like there was a chance he was just a blindstealer and someone who would cbet because why not, so that's why I bet turn a lot.

I just don't get it though, minraisers (unless it's some guy on tablet always betting 0,05) are always ALWAYS holding the nuts from my experience, and you can see that on people too where you minraise them on river and they get insanely good odds but they often fold. Minraising feels like the best way to scare ppl away, at least at these stakes. I guess I'll go back to just assuming minraising ppl hold monsters :/

New player, advice appreciatedLast edit: 01/03/2014 19:06

I don't really know what I'd do on this turn. I'd probably be 3betting this preflop against SB raiser.
