hello fellow chinaman. I started poker like a year and a half ago and started off just like you...but I was horrible. I deposited $50 like 4-5 times before I finally became a break even player. To supplement my losses I went bonus whoring and didn't progress much because I didn't know anyone that played. I still sucked after reading LP and buying some cardrunners videos so I decided to quit. I came back like a month ago and I think I've stopped tilting so much and it's been going really good for me. I think I have a shot at this game now.
The point is don't get discouraged, if you get the right help you'll do okay in this game. You're lucky to know some people. With that, someone please be my friend 
Oh and don't play at stars...the rake is too painful. I'd rather deposit at a site that gives rakeback + bonuses so you can cash those out if you feel you need money without touching your bankroll....thats what I do. I'm only playing with my winnings and never any bonuses/rakeback.

Hey, I see you've also moved on passed the starcraft days. I only started playing seriously about 3 weeks ago and quickly made my way to 10nl, then straight back down to 5nl after 5k hands at it. Glad you're having some luck with it though ^_^ |
