LuckyAce Poker (6.78)
Software
LuckyAce Poker’s software is simple and easy to use. Users should have no problem navigating around the interface.
Games are sorted in tabs and filters are available including stakes, average pot, players, etc. which is pretty consistent across all poker software. Users can also view stats on any table before actually entering it including players, chips, etc. by clicking on the details column
Audio is great and players may feel like they’re actually in a casino. Upon launching the software, you will hear a host welcoming you to LuckyAce Poker. She will also say goodbye to you on your way out. The dealer is pretty active as she will tell you that she is dealing the flop, turn, you win, etc. You can also hear the sound of chips moving.
Unique to LuckyAce Poker is the option to view tables in first person view. This view puts you in the center of the table as if it’s a video game that is a first person shooter. You then have an avatar of yourself on the left hand side, complete with your user info. It’s almost like a video game!
Standard across all online poker sites, LuckyAce Poker includes a chat window where you may chat with other players as well see winning hands. You can also write notes in that same window by clicking on the notes tab.
While LuckyAce Poker allows multi-tabling, you can’t shrink tables too much; you can only shrink it to about three quarters of its size. This is a serious problem for anyone hoping to fit more than 4 tables on their screen.
Player note taking is also available at LuckyAce Poker as players are able to take notes on their opponents during play. This is done by clicking on the drop down arrow beside their screen name and clicking on write notes. You can mark off players with icons such as tight bad, tight good, rock, calling station, etc. You can also write notes in there to go along with your label.
One of the biggest drawbacks of LuckyAce poker is the absence of a hand history in text format stored on your hard drive. Instead, you must view it on site on the interface. This may pose a problem for those who want to view their hand histories offline and perhaps post them on forums for study. You may ask for a text version; however they will send you an Excel spreadsheet file which is very unorganized. Not worth asking in my opinion. The good thing is that you can replay the whole hand on the interface with fast forward and rewind buttons.
Game Selection
Lucky Ace Poker offers several variations of poker including No Limit/Limit Hold Em, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, 7 Card Stud, and 7 Card Stud Hi Lo. All these games except Stud are available on heads up tables, short handed tables, 9 handed tables and 10 handed tables in cash and tournament game format.
There are also jackpot tables where you can win a jackpot dependent on certain conditions outlined by the table.
Competition
LuckyAce has some of, if not the, softest games around. Calling stations and riverrats run amuck, no matter the stakes. Donk bets are ridiculously high here as well, as some are either scared or setting a poor trap that is negative EV. This is no different in cash games nor tournaments. The 888 network has always been known to have the fishiest games and LuckyAce Poker is no different.
Traffic
While there isn’t an enormous amount of traffic, there is enough traffic to keep you playing at LuckyAce Poker. Traffic tends to dry up towards the night especially in games not named NL.
Support
Players may contact LuckyAce Poker either via chat support, phone call, or email This is great, as many sites do not offer all three methods of contact.
Support is generally quick, with the quickest of all three methods being chat support.

Bonus/Rakeback
LuckyAce offers a very attractive 25% bonus up to $400. This is on top of the regular bonus that can be cleared accumulating points. To collect the remaining bonus, you must play a raked hand of a minimum of $10 to receive one point. For every 100 points you collect, you can convert that into $1.
The rake at LuckyAce Poker is typical of an online poker room. The minimum
rake is $.06 and the maximum rake is $4. LuckyAce Poker participates in a
"No Flop, No Drop" rake policy. This means that rake is only taken in games which reach the flop.
Deposit/Withdrawal Options
While there are many different deposit options to choose from, withdrawl options are extremely limited.

LuckyAce Poker Equity (do you have any?)
No support for a tracker or HUD and no hand histories in text format may make players not want to play at LuckyAce. However, the instant bonus of 25% up to $400 coupled with the soft competition is enough to get any player to play at LuckyAce. If you don’t need tracking software, LuckyAce will be +EV for you. You don’t need to be lucky with an Ace here!
