no matter what happens, barring a Jack on the turn or River, you're going to stack this guy (in this situation anyways), I wouldnt ave checjed the flop, bet something, and let him come at you with his J

But if he didnt have the J, you wouldnt have been able to get much out of him either way...The only hands he would be able to call you with would be AK, Jx, or MAYBE if he was really fishy a straight draw. like I said, bet, if he doesnt have the J, he folds, and therse not much you can do about that

free card is perfectly fine, you are holding the 2nd nuts. only hands that beat you are JJ and AA if the turn or river makes an ace so if you think he is drawing it's ok to check the flop (or if you want to give him a chance to bluff), but betting turn is imperative if you want to make money out of your hand

of course betting the flop is a good line too

bad play imo, that looks like a 5nl play, he called ur river bet because you got lucky with that river and he is a donk.

i would make a weak bet on the flop like im stealing it or im afraid of that scary flop ( you can check it too ).

if you made that bet you can get away with 3/4 pot bet on turn if someone has a draw or hits something.

The river i would bet the pot again.

i would play it more agressivly because if he has a jack, you want him to put the money before something might scare him like an apparent straight or flush or even king, and more important because he will be more commited to the pot.

if he has a jack he can easily fold that river, but he wont fold a bet on the flop, he might even raise you with a good kicker, so bet it slightly.

Bet the flop and bet the turn like a man!! But I'm pretty crazy if I check anypot anywhere probably people would think somethin is wrong.

In US everyone is happy as long as all the prices are rising. Unless its crude oil - Marc Faber

when you go all-in with 77 preflop people would be definitely scared of a check from you.
