agree with what this guy says about OTB's bluff?
"pretty sure its not fine to bluff it at any time from a GTO perspective so its clearly an exploitive approach by OTB. Usually Ax is strong enough to c/call the flop vs a button range, so the play can mean two things:
- 2607 b/folds the flop too often (unlikely imo)
- 2607's range is too well adjusted to make A5 a c/c, so since it becomes the new topfolding range, OTB decides to use it as a bluff (more likely imo)? |

i feel pretty confident that your second premise is more likely to be correct than the 1st one due to the fact that if otb thinks 2607 b/f the flop too much, otb would not continue w/ huge bets on turn/river due to his perception of 2607 range being quite strong to continue on flop.
as for the rest of this hand, w/ the turn overbet and the river shove ... i don't rly get it ... ill ask some players better than me.
the fact that we have the A in our hand i feel like it hurts our bluff since we block 2607 from having his most likely hand that b/f the flop, Ax. i guess im quite confused about this one. |

I'd like an explanation for the overbet on turn as well.

Maybe he's just found the GTO size and frequency to where villain has to peel turns but fold rivers with Jx and he uses the a5 just to block some of his calling range for the bomb (AA, AJ) since otb doesn't even have better aces like AQ (block qq too) and if he did maybe that would be good enough to.
C/C.
Say otb gets to flop with A5dd here (doesn't 3b pre). More or less inclined to raise flop? |
