Earlier today I was playing Dracospinner HU @ the 10/20 tables. And during our HU session at 2 of the tables, people including Raszi sat at the table and we asked them to leave the table to respect the HU game.

Everyone left but raszi sat out and spectated the game..

When dracospinner left, Raszi sat in and the cards were being dealt...
I had no intention of playing raszi in the first place but could not click sit out quickly enough as i was playing multiple tables at the time but on the first hand i get TT and end up stacking raszi.

I sit out from both my tables moments after and leaving raszi hanging after stacking him in 1 hand.

Raszi msged me saying i owe him play time, because what i did was not manner so and so.

I feel as if i owe Raszi nothing because i had no intention of giving him action in the first place, and the fact that i stack him in the first hand should not change my decision about playing him to begin with. Or does it?

I want the forums opinion on this

i agree with you, i think this is a stupid degenerate rule based on ego.

theres tons of tables, if raszi want to make back his loss just play someone else. people should be allowed to play session as long as they want.

I personally dont do it thought

you dont owe him anything, u can join a table, double up and leave if u want. Its pretty lame if you make a habit, but a one off like this really shouldn't mean you have to give him a chance to win back his money.

Do what you like, and esp if you are friendly he shouldn't care too much about it

I am totally on raszi's side.

here is the conversation i had with casinocasino on this:

kon says:
hey u seem to be a smart guy can i ask u question
kon says:
its casino btw
ryan says:
ya
ryan says:
sup
kon says:
hey so i was playing drascospinner hu
kon says:
and raszi was sitting out and watching
kon says:
after i stacked dracospinner he left and raszi quick sat in and we began to play
kon says:
on the first hand i get TT and end up stacking him and sit out right after
kon says:
i told raszi that i had no intention of playing him in the first place and had no time to sitout
kon says:
but he claims that i owe him HU time and that im being injust
kon says:
what do u think
ryan says:
whenever i stack someone
ryan says:
i play another 20 minutes
ryan says:
especially hu
kon says:
but i didnt want to play raszi in the first place, and now that i accidently stack him i owe him play time?
ryan says:
its a matter of courtesy
ryan says:
you dont hit and run ppl
kon says:
but its not like i was the one who sat in at his table doubled up and left...
ryan says:
it doesnt matter, put it this way
ryan says:
if some guy
ryan says:
if i sat a table with some guy in a casino
ryan says:
and he did what you did to raszi
ryan says:
id knock him out
ryan says:
besides slow rolling
kon says:
but this person had time to agree apon palying with this other person
kon says:
i didnt have any time
kon says:
to sit out
ryan says:
thats the most disrespectful thing
ryan says:
you can do to someone
kon says:
but my arguement is that he had a choice in which to play me and i did not... and the players in the casino would of had some kind of agree apon playing as well
ryan says:
it doesnt matter you stacked him
ryan says:
leaving right after
ryan says:
is a huge sign of disrespect
kon says:
i dont see your point
kon says:
i must be the one at fault here
ryan says:
if you stack someone its common courtsey to continue playing
ryan says:
for a little while longer
ryan says:
id compare it to an old lady
ryan says:
bumping into you and falling over
ryan says:
and you not helping her up
ryan says:
you had no intention of knocking her over
ryan says:
and she bumped into you
ryan says:
but that means you dont help her up?
kon says:
but thats different entierly
ryan says:
not if shes not injured
ryan says:
id have played him another 20 hands at least
ryan says:
and then said sorry man i dont really want to play you hu
kon says:
i judt dont understand the corelation in which am forced to playing him when i had to intention of doing so to begin with, and just because a rare incindent in me stacking him in the first hand occured i owe him some kind of game time which i would not of agreed too
kon says:
if i did not stack him and won the first hand and left i would prolly not have to o give gim shit
ryan says:
when you stack someone and then leave
ryan says:
that is a huge huge sign of disrespect
kon says:
how
kon says:
how is it disrespecting a person
ryan says:
its called hit and running
ryan says:
and its about the only thing in poker as bad as slowrolling
ryan says:
when someone loses a large pot and the other person IMMEDIATELY sits out and wont play anymore how is that not disrespect
kon says:
sorry im slow with my responses im playing 6 tables
ryan says:
im playing 7
ryan says:
i understand
kon says:
ill post it on liquidpoker... i honestly dont feel at fault here
kon says:
i would find it pretty degrading if
kon says:
i sat at raszi playing, approving of playing him, stacking him and leaving the first hand
kon says:
clearly
kon says:
but if i had no intention of playing him to begin with, and this happand accidently, why am i forced to give him something i had not warranted before
ryan says:
because yous tacked him
ryan says:
its courtsey man
ryan says:
if i did what you did
ryan says:
id be like agh i didnt really want to play you hu, ill play another 15 min
ryan says:
if you stack someone its just the way it is
ryan says:
unless you gave prior warning
ryan says:
like i am leaving next hand
ryan says:
and then stack him that hand
ryan says:
id still play some more
ryan says:
but that would be different

if you had no intention of playing you could have just clicked 'sit out next hand' when you had the TT and then just folded :-/ however you didn't ask for that situation....maybe just play him for a few more hands and let him know you were finished?

Its pretty lame when this happens but i think its fine to leave also.

This wouldn't happen at a casino because as casinocasino said, the error occured because he was multi tabling and didn't have enough time to sit out.

As for the old lady comparison. Technically he could just walk away, why wouldn't he? because he's a nice guy.

Does this apply to poker? I dont think it does.

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

I think no matter what the excuse is this is just like hit and running. Now the fact that you think if that is bad or not its a diffrent story.

hmm maybe its called ettiquette? and common courtesy between poker players
people that do stuff like this are the ones that ruin flipaments, or lets say we agree to flip and i then fold after you shove cause i don thave a good hand. is that ok because poker is all abou tme?

how about the fact that they were playing on another table as well and he didnt quit on that table until AFTER this stacking. am i to assume that both tables of hu started AT THE EXACT SAME TIME? plus the fact that casino has a history of hit and running (he did it to pooruser at 25/50), i think you guys are all foolish for siding with him

dont get me wrong i like casino and all but i think what he did here is terrible and disrespectful to another player
