This hand is easily good enough to open it every time UTG. And yes, you should always raise pre-flop with an exception when there is a super-aggressive player at your table who raises and re-raises every hand. In that case a check/call is optimal, because you don't want to build a big pot without a strong hand being out of position vs a maniac. |
