knicks are too hot ATM, they need melo back to cool them down |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

To be fair the last 4 teams the knicks played had no business at all even keeping the games close
Sat, Feb 4
vs
New Jersey
W99-92
Nets suck, and were winning through 3 quarters of this game which is a miracle that NYK won it
Mon, Feb 6
vs
Utah
W99-88
Utah is 2-7 on the road but 11-5 at home, and a pretty shitty team overall since they got gutted when Sloan/D-Will/boozer left, so this doesn't count
Wed, Feb 8
@
Washington
W107-93
Nothing really to add here that isn't repetitive
Fri, Feb 10
vs
Los Angeles
W92-85
The lakers were 15-11, and 4-9 on the road entering this game on a b2b. Here is how the lakers were this season on B2B's and road games for the most part:
90-87 win in OT vs utah miracle
94-102 loss on a b2b road game vs LAC
blownout @ Miami 87-98 (they were down more than 25
most of the game, the 11 point loss was deceptive
in making it seem less brutal due to garbage time
points and fouls)
80-92 blowout loss @ orlando on a b2b
bad loss on b2b @ utah 87-96
So a miracle OT win vs utah when it should have been a loss just as easily, and tons of other embarrassing losses (I guess miami shouldn't be on there but i'll be devils advocate). Truth is, I think anyone fresh off the bench could have rallied the knicks to at least half of those wins just as easily since Melo the cancer is inactive. The guy (melo) just sucks the life out of the team, so I'm only going to give a little credit to lin here. The guy scored well and has put up a shocking performance compared to his complete bust in season 1 playing for the warriors, but several drives and attempts to penetrate the paint looked really bad and this win was just due to poor offensive output from the lakers. Look at how well Kobe played despite a terrible start: 34 pts, 10 rebounds. Now look at one of the shittiest players in the nba, Bynum: 1 for 8, 3 points, 1 for 2 from FT line, 2 turnovers, 5 fouls. Kobe practically matched Bynum on rebounds and this big oaf retard still manages 3 points after 35 minutes of play vs the knicks defense.
Bottom line: These wins don't mean shit. If they win more than 1 of the next 5 games I will give ultimate props to the knicks (only if melo and amare are both out though). Tonight's game vs the t-wolves in Minnesota is going to be Lin's first real challenge. Beating the lakers who are on a b2b after a bad loss doesn't prove shit this season and a lot of people agree besides yahoo news retards |

lol khan you just lost all credibility after mentioning bynum. The guy is easily one of the best big men today, I would rank him top 5. The lakers main squad were obviously having an off night, dont go assuming things after 1-4 games. Lastly, the knicks were pretty much just as shitty as the teams you mentioned despite having all-stars and the superstar in melo. |

lol no way. 1 unit is only 5 bucks for me. So I only had 50 on the Knicks +6.5 and 20 on straight up. I'm pretty nitty with BR management sportsbetting-wise. |
