anthony sucking the life out of stodumire (and the rest of the team), seomeone needs to get traded
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Don't watch many NY games, but thats exactly what i'm thinking (the anthony part).
In todays game Amare didn't take a shot in 4th quarter + 2 OTs only at the very end he hit a 3(!!!).
What also doesn't help them is a coach who is famous for his offense. Watching the Knicks looks a lot like the lakers
the ball is in the hands of kobe/anthony 80% of the time and nothing else happens.
Heat looking pretty strong.. time for teams to work on their zone defense =)

The deal the knicks made with denver was so unbelievably unfair in favor of denver. Before this, the knicks were a contender in the east with amare/felton running the pick n roll like amare did in PHX, and they would spread the floor leaving players like douglas/gallo/other random guys open for 3. was very strong and amare would go for 30-45 pts a night from 1/3 of the season and onward. Denver was struggling, several road losses to bad teams like indiana who they gave up a 40 point or something 3rd quarter to (they were bad early in the yr, then picked up steam mid season), the bobcats, home loss to the sixers and so on. Out of this deal, Denver got rid of Melo who was plaguing the team with his lack of leadership and whiny attitude, and they gained Ray Felton, Gallo, Wilson Chandler, Mozgov for fucking melo lol. If you look at Denver's roster from mid-season last yr and their success it's just so insane, they were literally 13-1 against the spread before not covering @ home vs the spurs in a big ESPN game on tv since the formation of the new squad, and overall just a delight to watch on tv. I mean look at this squad from starters to bench and you tell me whats up:
Nene, Gallo, Lawson, Chandler, Felton, JR, Al Harrington, Birdman, Afflalo, Kenyon Martin and some other big men/guards.
You could take any combination of those 9-12 guys and they would form a starting lineup on any team on the east that will make the playoffs with ease. Denver is so fucking good right now and the results show as well. I feel a bit sad they had to face OKC in round 1, b/c I think they woulda romped most of the other teams. I'm upset over the fact that Chandler/JR/Kenyon Martin all decided to sign with teams in China during the lockout, b/c those are 3 monster additions to any squad in the NBA and make Denver that much more powerful. The great thing about all of Denver's players is that I believe they are paid less than what they are really worth. If you throw in the 3 in china right now the team becomes that much more powerful if you toss a few of the bench scrubs and fill them in with those three. They're just a really fun team =P

yes exactly this, very nice write. Never really liked Anthony because he takes so many shots and holds ball too much (i've never liked bryant either tho i always liked wade/lebron because they do alot of work on defense, rebounding and assists/steals)
the fact that 3 very good players are in China, now others can play more and when they return this is gonna be some killer team, who can go fullspeed every playoff game for 48minutes and everyone is well rested. Glad for their coach after that cancer thing.

LOL. I just saw the stats for the Denver/NYK game. Melo shot 10/30 from the field with 1/7 from 3 and only 6 free throws attempted for a total of 25 pts, while amare and chandler only had 9 and 5 attempts LOL. So basically he was just being a thug and taking jump shots? Wow who woulda saw that coming
Also, alarmingly while extremely hilarious as well, Gallo had 37 pts, and went 18/20 from the free-throw line. THE ENTIRE KNICKS TEAM WENT 15/21 LOL.

Of course one of those misses came right before the end of regulation.... not whining over my bet or anything.. :D
The sad thing you could see at the end of the game (end of 4th until the end) Amare was not complaining about not getting the ball.
Wasn't like he got double teamed or the pass got denied they simply left him standing around.
I remember shortly before the season started there was a preview for each conference playoff teams. They had NYK 3rd or 4th and
Orlando not making the playoffs...
Also are the players in china still on the nuggets roster? or will they be free agents when they come back?
Edit: just in case you haven't done yet check out the highlights, epic 3 pointer by andre miller in the first overtime lol!
