need some opinions on who i should start this week


league 1:
need to start 2 of the following 3 receivers: nate washington, michael crabtree, lee evans

im thinking washington/evans, but unsure if crabtree will have a good week or not, playing vs the saints.


league 2:
need to start 2 of the following 3 guys: randy moss (playing vs revis this week), mike sims walker (no catches last week), kellen winslow,

who do i bench here? not sure if moss is worth it vs revis, or who is more likely to have a good week between walker, winslow

daut, thats like someone asking what they should do with 77 without mentioning position, chip stack, table dynamic, etc.

you gotta give the scoring, PPR, yardage bonus, etc.

assuming "standard" scoring, I go washington and crabtree in league 1 and moss, sims-walker league 2. revis will sometimes get matched up with welker and considering how often the jets blitz, moss will have big play potential. you just cannot bench premier players like moss, revis or not. It's close between walker and winslow but it's gonna take more than 1 bad week for me to give up on walker. as for lee evans, that buffalo passing game is totally inept and no buffalo receivers will have any upside potential for this season. I much rather go with a younger receiver with more upside for my bench WR.

no yardage bonuses.

yeh buffalo offense sucks but lee evans is their best player so i figure he will put up some points, espn projected him to get 11 points and projected crabtree to get 4 which was a little bothersome, but hes going against charles woodson so ima start crabtree.

1 great thing about being a browns fan is since i have jerome harrison i can root for them every week w/ 0 consequences. harrison is the only brown on a roster in my league lol.

visanthe schiancoe is such a beast. i cant believe hes a tight end

and wtf, favre throws at percy harvin 75% of the time and at least 50% of those are incomplete. the other 25% is split between AP and shiancoe.

i just got into watching football. i really dont get alot of the finer points but like the intesity.
maybe ive watched the wrong games so far, but all those flags/penalties are annoying.

is everybody in the us playing football in highschool? doesnt seem to be a good sport for average guys

also, why the fuck are all those games starting at the same time, what to watch if u dont know the teams too well?

sick win for me in the LP league. I put up huge numbers for the second straight week but 4TM just passes me by .06 of a point with 2 minutes left in a blowout. the giants fail on 4th and 2 and its basically GG. indy can just run the clock out but their backup RB fumbles and the giants get a gift possession. nicks gets a TD pass in garbage time to give me the win.

sadly, I was on the opposite side. I dunno what happened between the first and second quarters but the Jets offense looked like a totally different team.

I play in a league that would be really fun for LP to do next year:

100 buy-in (negotiable)

Each person starts with 50 points

Each week you are assigned 2 games to bet on, you can bet however many points you wish, however you MUST bet at least 5% of your points on each game.

Games are 1-1 odds unless the spread is a certain amount, then odds can increase for the underdog (2-1,3-1,4-1 etc..)

You will get each team a minimum of 2 times and max of 3

Whoever has the most points at the end of the season wins.

We currently get like 85 people in this league, 1st is usually like 4k, 10 or so spots pay with a bonus to the person who picks the most games correctly, some years 200k points wins, some 8k points wins.

Playoffs and superbowl count

Very fun.
