your problem is that you have no ambition that currently relate to poker, if you had you would be motivated. there's nothing you can do, you don't force ambitions, you don't perform by wanting to perform, it simply doesn't work. if you have ambitions non-related to poker then just pursue that. if you have no ambitions at all then try to figure out what you really like in life and it'll come by itself. i'm in the same boat and it's why i don't currently play. it's kind of a shame to shit on a really good hourly rate just because we're not motivated to do something, but poker isn't going anywhere anyway. |

Sounds like you have too much money. Go spend some, then look at your bank account for motivation. |

You can temporarily generate motivation by running propbets with friends based on volume and/or profit over small periods of time. If it's over a longer period of time someone will probably get really far behind and give up. It actually works pretty well if you have a competitive nature, regardless of how much you put up. |

Q: How to get motivated to play?
A: become poor |

i was thinking of having a propbet for volume amongst other players(300 each or more then loser doesnt get his money back etc). might help with hand volume woes. havent played this month 35k hands only, breakeven total this month meh |
