so durr and galfond who took a shot at railheaven underbankrolled is a war hero since they ran like god and raszi is a degen because he ran bad and went on life tilt after? lol irony...

lol what? no not at all.

to me raszi came off as putting down people who sell % of their action. calling them % nits and saying its dumb and such a grind & that if they're selling action then they should just play 50-100 etc.... that it takes away the thrill. i dunno its almost like straight calling them nits and they dont like to gambooool like the raszi does cuz the raszi always has 100% of himself. i know he tried to add phrases like " my opinion " & etc to make it seem less attacking but still seemed attacking to me.

oh well i dont want some flamewar in this thread so ill leave it at this. sorry if i misunderstood you raszi.

i think raszi does have a point. if they're both selling action, it doesn't make sense at all to be playing 2/4. specially when durrr's "reason" for the challenge was so that he can get action on bigger games. it would be alot cooler if they both played at a stake they can afford instead of playing with other people's money. playing 2/4 looks alot more baller for the audience i guess =/

This.

Also anyone good at poker playing under any sort of LONGTERM stake is just retarded.

Yeah I dont understand it either if both sell %, based completely on what they expect to make from actually playing poker. But, since this is not just about playing poker and winning X bb/100 I think it's pretty resonable of them to sell %. I mean, obviously Durrrr has gotten a ton of media attention and if you compare it to when he started the challenge, you'd probably look at it as a really important factor in him going from "the internet kid" to FT-pro. Which I can only assume is a long term goal for Jungleman aswell.

I could understand Raszi more (and I still do to a degree) if it was just about those two playing eachother. But its more than that and most of the targeted audience of this kind of challenge (newbies, people who play on different sites and bla bla) probably thinks its a lot more cool than the average LP-reader.

Yea I also think its retarded to play stakes you cant afford to take 100% of just for the sake of the thrill of playing higher stakes, its another story if there happens to be a game that you arent rolled for but expect a higher winrate than your regular games.

Tom.Your opponent must have a very good read on you, and some good moves, in order for you to be losing.

Just think more like a man who’s 30 or 40, and how they see poker, and when the good hands come, play them well and watch for traps.

Be thankful you’re not playing Gus Hansen, who really should challenge you.

Poker is a lot like chess, so look at poker like how a Grandmaster looks at chess.

Best wishes.
