Why did u limp pf? Not saying it's bad at all--it can be a very viable play. I'm just curious. Also, assuming he's never bluffing the river is really a stretch, especially vs a random. If I somehow play the hand this way and hit this river I am never ever folding

looks like a call to me. he hardly ever has 34, because not that many people would call it pf. 78 is possible but unlikely he has to float it on the flop which he probably doesnt do a 100%. he could have hit the A to make 2p or made some other 2p or made some kind of set and valuebet.

i would think he could valuebet a lot of worse hands that are quite nutsy on the river and you have a hand thats near the top of the nutsy hands so i think its a call.

come on guys...lets be a little nicer...maybe he had a rational reason for limping preflop and check, calling 3 streets on that board...lets keep open mind like northface has and let him explain...wouldnt we all like to hear his reasoning =) maybe after he gives his reasoning we can be like WTF? like REALLI? =D

SeanBam   . Aug 07 2010 17:04. Posts 953

he called the blind in EP hoping that at 9max he would get a 5x pot raise so he can then reraise him with his AA. Then play as follows... he got confused how to play the hand when no one raised.

This is why one does not make hero calls against passive players at micro ($2 up to $50) or low stakes ($100 and $200) NL. They never shove AI without the nuts...really never! OMG you did not even mini-raise a limper...are you stealing pots with position?

i play with you. Thanks for tell me how you play yours AA

Well I guess if ur not going to respond and try to improve I'm gonna say that this is a terribly played hand. There are so many reasons why limping aa is bad, it's very obvious if people know you are doing it, your hand range from that position should be strong anyways so u should be raising 100%, you allow people to 3b with worse premiums if u open raise, etcetc. With under 200bb stacks there's almost never a reason to limp this.
