Burning Cole
The dealer had delivered fourth street, with showing. Corwin Cole, chip leader entering today, checked from the big blind, and his lone opponent fired 6,000 from the button. Cole check-raised to 35,000, and his opponent called with the 16,100 total he had left with which to play.
Cole showed for two pair, while his opponent had and faint hopes to survive. The river ended those, and another player has hit the rail.
Cole has been quite active here in the early going on Day 2a, and after slipping a bit at the start is now back right around where he began the day with 230,000.

I started day 2 with 24.7k chips, ended it with 71.7k, I'm fine with that considering how card dead I was and I had a solid very agressive chipleader right on my left the whole day, let's hope I run hot on day 3 =P
I'll be on table #324 on monday |

Good god I'm bad. I continue to impress myself with how bad I can actually play when I get tired. So Im playing my best entire day 1, and up to dinner break on day 2. Then I'm about to go to sleep. So I go grab a white mocha from starbucks with 5 espresso shots. Come back to finish off the final 2 hours of play today and realize that the nutty monkey in my head has come out to play. Nutty monkey (who always runs like god no matter what) swings my stack from vine to vine and I venture from up to 170k to below 100k.
If I played my good solid game, made all the correct folds, kept my head in it, I would have had a pretty easy and variance free 100k stack going into Day 3.
Instead, nutty monkey had my stack at 150k with 10 minutes to go, then hurricanes off 30k in chips to leave me with 122.5k and a lot of embarrassing hand historys of which I wont get into now.

I'm such a sad panda right now
Started day at 122,500. Was totally card dead but playing great, had a lot of discipline in waiting for my spots. Built up to 210,000. Then got into a super harry spot with TT for a 140k pot. Very next hand I flopped the world vs two pair and the guy holds for another 140k pot. Toss in my last 16bbs vs a button raise with A9 and he wakes up with JJ and i die. fml flying home to SD tomorrow |
