PLO videos really suck

Has anyone else noticed that every single series of PLO "teaching" videos really suck?

The players make a lot of obvious mistakes with illogical thought processes and the coaches rarely even comment on them,
and the comments the coaches make, they are so illogical and ill thought you might start to believe that the coaches realized they ruined NLHE with their teaching videos,
and are trying to make up for it by keeping the PLO players extremely bad, but that isn't really a ethical approach since people are actually paying for these videos...

I'm not really complaining, but seriously, series after series I just open a random place in an episode and hear some ill thought fallacy from a losing player, which the trainer then agrees with.

plo is a complicated game

i notice a lot of inconsistencies from same coaches sometimes within the same series. and like i rarely see a coach in plo really crush it. most have losing ptrs ffs

Only winning recently PLO coach I have found plays high stakes (25/50+) and was making a video for $50PLO, hardly the same games with comparable players..

i havent watched many but i agree that phil galfond vid r really nice

i saw a recent bt vid and i thought it was quite decent too

well if you are at the level where you can open any plo vid and spot fundamental leaks you should be pretty happy.

Is a HUD for PLO necessary?

not as much as NL i feel

I'd still recommend it even though it is easily profitable without it, even shortstacking.
