Need Electrical Engineer

Hey so im working on a little project for fun and i thought it would be cool to build a generator into it, but i have no idea where to buy one that works like i need it to.. I know a electrical engineer would prolly know where to find this kidna stuff, or maybe just someone that knows how to find electrical shit really easy..

anyways what im lookin for.. I have 2 disks spinning either on top of eachother, or one latched outside the other one, i made some pics of what im talking about.




basically the pink disc always stays still, and the purple disk spins on top or around it, and in the middle where they meet, i need a generator that could power a LED.. The pink disc could be made up of the generator parts if that would help.. then the purple disk would just spin on it to create power.. I know they have flashlights that work from just shaking them and junk like that, kinda the same idea, i just need it to be more in this shape..

anyways i know tons of readers of this forum have real jobs and know shit about stuff besides poker, so i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of where to buy something like this..

for clarification, i dont need the actual disks or anything like that, just a generator, or generator parts that could be built or reshaped to work in something like this..

wait so u want just the outside disc to spin wtf is this thing?!? i have the whole electronics background but i dont see what the fuck u are doing here looks kinda pointless to just have one disc spin around the other?

I'm in 3rd year EE but I have no idea what you're trying to do. Sometimes you can talk to your local radio shack or what not and find out where the local electronics store is. From there, they may be able to help you better.
If you think what you need is already implemented in a flashlight or other basic module, buy it and take it apart.
But it would help if you clarified the problem a bit more. Not to be condescending, it's hard to explain these types of things over forums.

A generator is usually an electric motor running in reverse. is there space to put any type of electric motor in there?

I work as one and have gone through all the tireless EE schooling, and I still have no clue what/why this would be used for. It's rare to design this kind of stuff, it's usually implemented as a system from supplier parts.

OK well i guess i didn't explain enough... this is just a small part inside a much bigger project.. the pink ring would get attached around a pole, and the purple one would freely spin around the pink ring and the pole, and i need energy to be generated when it does.. i mentioned the flash light because they have simple friction based generators, but i dont think you could take it apart and use the parts for something like this because of the shape and space requirements.

I don't know about anyone else, but I still have no idea what he is trying to do here lol.

it doesnt matter... seriously, its one part in a machine im building, and i need it to spin and generate energy, its not that complicated.. and what its going to be put in, changes nothing about the functionality of this part..

OK i think this is what im looking for.. if you pass a magnet over a coil of copper wire it generates a charge, so what i have rendered here is the outside ring holding magnets, the inside stationary ring has copper coils, as the outside ring rotates around it will generate power.. Could one of you EE guys help me fine tune this idea tho? what do i do with these copper coils, do i take all the ends of each coil and connect them together and make one large positive and negative lead? Id want this power to go into a rechargeable battery or something like that..

if anyones wondering about the pics, the 1st one is a top view with the top peice in wire frame, the silver circles are bearings set in a rove in the pink piece so the top piece can lay on top of the stationary piece but still be able to rotate around, the reddish orange circles are copper coils and the blueish squares would be square magnets. 2nd pic is view from the bottom with the top piece translucent.
