Hello Again Everyone,
Thanks again for taking the survey, and for posting your comments in the thread. I'd like to address the comments that have been made since my last post.
To Heros Engage: If you send me a private message about what you didn't understand, I can help you with some clarification. Also, thanks for letting people know that you don't have to give your email address.
With regards to that, you certainly do not have to add your email address. We ask for your address so that we can contact you if you are one of the winners for the draw. So if you'd rather not give an email, but would still like to help by taking the survey, that would be greatly appreciated.
In regards to the gambling age, the Ethics Board here at my University placed that restriction on my study. I assumed that meant that this was the gambling age. Sorry about the missinformation. If you are of legal gambling age in your respective country, please do take the questionnaire.
To Byrnesam: The advertisement in the original post is regulated by the Ethics Board at my university. This is how they prefer that we advertise for our study. As other advertisements go on posters, around campus for example, the add says my name so that people know who is conducting the study. Does this make sense?
Thanks again to everyone for posting your comments and questions.
Thanks for taking the study.

yea 5 is kinda more geared towards like sports betting than poker, when playing poker "seriously" u dont really wager a set amount at all.
i put the figure i would lose before stopping for the day |

Hello Again Everyone,
Just thought I'd comment on the last two posts.
Thanks to Spasticink for letting people know the relatively short amount of time it takes to finish the survey.
As for question 5, about the average daily wager. We've experienced a lot of trouble with that question. Just to let people know, the answers will not be used in analysis because we've learned that the question means nothing to serious poker players. I personally paly poker online, but I play more for leisure and I missed the mistake in this question. Now that I've put thought into it, it doesn't make sense to ask the question that way. Something more accurate next time would be to ask a question about how strictly one manages their bankroll.
Thanks for the comments, for those who are taking the study now, just answer the question to however you would interpret it, or skip it.

legal age to gamble is 18 -_-; 21 is to drink (which is why i can't go to AC / Vegas / other casinos because they serve alcohol) although i can go to Native American casinos such as Turning Stone in New York, because they don't serve alcohol. |
