I bet the island will actually be a living organism with superpowers that can destroy the whole world and they r being controlled by that temple and prolly Jacob and that smoky guy are the 2 Sons of the Island and smoky guy is evil and prolly got banished and he s trying " to get home " now after he s killed his brother to take control over the whole world and maybe destroy it

My theory actually seems fitting for this series..

jack knows cause claires mom was at his fathers funeral and told him she was on the island. i dont think he ever told kate though.

claire knows because she is "infected" and was talking to christian on the island (her father), whos dead body was inhabited by the smoke monster, same as locke is now

zzzz i think im gonna w8 for the whole season to come out and watch it all together since this series is getting on my nerve seriously ... nothing important happens

bleh this season started good but this whole thing with everyone on the plane being candidates to take jakobs place is the lamest attempt to link everyone together i could think of.

Idk I liked this episode and Saki that's what "Locke" says is the reason they're on the island,which might be a lie. Like when he said there was nothing to protect the island from (as in Jacob's a moron). I seriously doubt the writers didn't have a general plan from the beginning,recalling the scene where Locke explains backgammon to Walt on the beach on season 1 (I think),talking about "sides" and an ancient struggle etc. I just think they created a lot of subplots because they were given the green light to do so due to the shows great ratings. What really confuses me is the new alternate reality backstory,I can't see it leading anywhere... That's a great thing about this show though,they always try to keep you guessing and present facts in such a manner that you always have doubts and crave for moar heh
Still, they should be answering shit faster or the last episodes are going to be overwhelming in info or size...
hopefully the show doesn't end in a disappointing way

What I dont get is if the alternative reality is supposed to be what would happen if the plane didnt crash, how come locke is still with peggy, I thought she dumped him before. And why is Hugo such a lucky happy guy, wasnt he supposed to have shit luck? And if the point is that the alternative reality isnt the plane not crashing but the island never existing in the first place, which seems more logical because we see some of the others in the real world, how come Hugo won the lottery with numbers that came from the island? Or Jacob or wherever they came from... bleh I guess he was just lucky regardless, that would explain it, Im an idiot I made this rant and answered my own questions while doing it, oh well still posting it.

the plan is irrelevant to the actors
they can kill anyone they want(like that two characters they buried alive just because the subplot/actors sucked and got negative responses),that still doesn't mean they never had a reason in mind for whatever was happening on the island,or where they wanted to go with it,this isn't even hard to do anyway...

I think that was just a coincidence, the actresses weren't fired explicitly for drinking and driving
