I'm gonna have to side with the camp that says the writers are simply making up shit to create a conclusion they never finished from the beginning. You know, "hmm, how can we make this all fit together?". Regardless of the storyline at the moment, I'm really not digging the whole temple scene. Maybe it's just cheap set design or something, but it all seems too fancy and fake to me, whatever that means. I just feel like I'm watching some silly soap opera set in the jungle.

I also just want to throw this out there; I enjoyed the writers idea to have flashbacks throughout the series as an attempt to keep the audience grounded in reality, and to keep you yearning for the heroes to make it off the island. Reminding us that civilization still exists keeps you from just accepting the jungle as your new home. I feel the alternative universe thing is nothing more than an attempt to keep "society" in the back of our minds, so we feel bad for them being stuck on the island. But now it's so thin it's hard to even give a damn, at least for me. I mean, if there are two of each character, then they are each having their own experiences now. The jungle is looking like a better place for everyone, with Juliet dead and Kate running and Jack without a purpose. Fuck the real world, island life is the shit! So, why do I care what happens now? They should all be content to just eat coconuts for the rest of their lives as far as I'm concerned. Their real life counterparts are a bunch of bitches anyway so fuck them too, I dont even like them in the real world now.

And in the end, I feel like the writers are just gonna find some random copout for an excuse to tie the two realities together and we're supposed to be like "ahhh, that was genius". Except for those of us who see through this thinly veiled brag by the writers, and know they were grasping at straws for at least the first few episodes.

he knows, in the season when they were all off the island and jack was trying to convince everyone to go back, we see an episode where Kate is taking care of Claire's baby. Jack doesn't want to be with Kate because we were led to assume that the baby is actually the child of Kate and Sawyer (when they had sex after being captured by the others and Jack ends up setting them free), but at the end of the episode, we find that Kate is actually taking care of Claire's baby, and because Claire is actually Jack's half-sister, Jack finds it hard to be around the baby.

He knows who his sister is, her mother or grand mother tells jack Claire was on the plane and thy he probably never knew it, but of course he does know since he spent time on the island with her.

if I remember right, after jack and the others got off the island, there was a funeral service for jack's dad and at the service, Claire's mom arrives and tells Jack that Claire is his half-sister

That was revealed to him last season when the Oceanic 6 were back and he finally had a funeral service for his dad (a memorial service since they didn't have Christian's body). Clair's mom attended the service since she was his mistress and at the end of it she introduced herself to Jack, said his dad was in Australia because she and Clair had been in an accident and that Clair was Jack's sister. So Jack knows about Clair and that Aaron is his nephew.
