it's one of those things where u have to know where it is to find. fake locke searched the island for 30 years and couldn't find it. also, animals don't crave for power and try to abuse that shit.
Does Jack get any spells or special abilities now that Jacob gave him superwater ? I'm feeling he just get some sphinx "I feel a lot of stuff" powers and can live for a long time, +3 wisdom crap.
that's going to be explained in the finale most likely. jacob didn't seem too bright until he got the power and since he granted richard the ability not to age, he'll obviously get some powers.
And that thing about, they were all alone, and lost, and didn't have anyone. Jin and Sun were a couple? How come he picked them if he was suppose to just pick people who felt they didn't fit in and all that emo stuff!!

Richard is immortal so this means he didn't die? Also I just remembered they've ignored the numbers mythology for awhile now. The explanation is probably gonna be as lame as the candidate explanation. Jacob: "We just felt like assigning you guys some numbers."

they've already explained the numbers...and it isn't that richard is immortal, he just doesn't age. so we really don't know whether or not he's dead from smokie taking him out last episode.

When did they explain the numbers? Are you talking about the numbers in the cave and the lighthouse? I don't count that as an explanation even by lost standards.

there aren't others. they corresponded with the names that jacob picked and were in the outside world because jacob used them to get them onto the island pretty much.

So that means Jacob has power to influence the outside world too? And the numbers were just like 10 random ass numbers he picked out of a hat and was like, hey I think Kate should go with 37?

pretty sure 4 8 15 16 23 42 were just the numbers that corresponded to jack, hurley, sayid, sawyer, korean, locke

there were like 120 names on the wall but those were the 6 "candidates" so those were the numbers that ended up being important. not sure how it crossed over to the hatches and stuff but i guess jacob had control over that

the hatch was how he got them to bet to the island. if you remember, it was because desmond didn't type in the numbers on time in the hatch that caused the electromagnetic incident that caused their oceanic flight to crash, bringing those candidates to the island!

yea that i realize but like the dharma initiative did all the numbers stuff and got their info from somewhere, i guess jacob was at the root of everything though.

I could swear I saw his mom saying YOU CANT LEAVE instead of DONT LEAVE

she might have said you cant leave but not because he could not physically leave. i am assuming he actually could have left and she just went to measures to stop him because she wanted him to be the one to take over her job, but then she realized it was jacob.

i could be wrong but i think its disputable at the least
