i would like to see more backstory on smokey but other than that i kinda like where the season is going

So lets talk about conspiracy theories... Hurley is the new Jacob or the new Richard?Blah seems to me that the candidate has already be chosen

jack is the new richard as he can't die either.

hurley must be the new jacob as he is able to 'bring' people back to the island (by talking to the dead people)

Are you crazy? This was one of the most badass episodes of all time. The entire series is filled with flashbacks of stupid shit like Jack and his piano playing son and you're going to draw the line on Richard's first and only and super awesome flashback? There's also a lot of current story since smokey and Jacob were alive back then. I don't see how you can see someone who has lived 500 years and not care what there life has been like but care about any of the other survivors.

Richard is about 200 years. But yeah, i thought it was a good lost ep as well.

i thought leaving it more mysterious would keep the mystique of richard. instead hes just another character with a story line that they hand fed us and hes no long this mysterious character with unknown origins. bad call imho.

its the end of the season , they have the right to do that ; )

btw, isn't oceanic flight supposed to be going from austrailia to USA or something like that? And the blackrock was going from Spain to the Americas? Isn't that 2 completely different oceans for them to end up on the same island?

If you watched the show, you'd know that the island moves. And I wouldn't say it's the end of the season because there are still 8 episodes left to air.

the island can move remember? also, in one episode they explained that there are certain zones at specific times that open pathways to the island (the episode with desmond and his mom in that huge room with the pendulum swinging over a map)
