25/50 Straight On river vs 3b

Ok so usually these days Im inclined to snap here because people love to turn stuff into bluffs on 3 barrels especially when some draw hits, but this guy hasnt shown any aggression vs me yet in the few pots we played which he released pretty easily and has been pretty snug throughout the session. I dont doubt he is capable of doing this but at the same time he does have a fair amount of flushes in his range.Thoughts?

Of course not. He could definitely be turning a shitload of hands into bluffs on the river.

After you bet the turn your range is fairly polarized, if you check the river I doubt he's gonna turn many hands into a bluff (might make sense to fold out 8x, but that's about it).

People in this thread never 3 barrel bluff on this board?

3 barrel bluffing is viable but still kind of senseless, won't show much profit imo

I think bet, c/c, c/c is a far superior line for balance and bluffcatching

Im not sold on what we are bluffcatching in this spot where he never has air and would be very happy to get to showdown most of the time, if we think he can turn stuff into bluffs isnt it fair to say hes as or even more likely to do it vs a 3barrel ?

sure there is always a chance he bluffraises riv to rep the flush, esp if he is super sick. however, if you think about his calling range on the turn or the river and his propensity to check or bet, i think its clearer that checking turn is better. sometimes i 3barrel here, but only vs a megafish or because of some weird history (aka almost never). as far as balancing ur 3barrel range here with ur 3barrel bluffing range...theres really no need as you are rarely 3barrel bluffing here, however ur c/c range on the turn is very wide and therefore should include this hand. Lastly, u have 2 kings, so how can he have a K in his hand!?

why is b c/c c/c better than bet bet c/c? and would people take the bet bet c/f line ever against the right opponent?

my reasoning for preferring the b b c/c over b c/c c/c in this particular hand is bc i don't see him turning many hands into bluffs on the turn

so that da ignant hand can bet in precisely the situation where our range is liable to have demolished the board at the exact moment that we chk.

our range also contains hands that we will, like, chkc here.
