PS update ftl

Am i the only one whom tables go crazy overlaping each others for no reasons ? pisses me off that s like 2 miscliks in 5 mn and almost impossible to focus on a hand 10 tabling... An other shitty/bugged update wtf

Just emailed them, support told me to send them log files and i did, hopefully they ll fix it soon. Anyone found a walkaround for this bug by any chance ?

btw theres an option at Requests down below that says Restore Pop-up Notifications.. is that it?

i think restore pop up notifications is old and refers to when you've told PS to never notify you about something again (like "this is a fast table". It brings those old popups back.

Did it get fixed already ?? Just got a new update but no time to play and try it out right now since I am heading out soon. Maybe will if it's fixed later tonight.

What is the add new currency going to be? Is it just going to allow players to cashout in other currencies or will it be used at the tables and stuff like that?

Probably they didn't ask you about any other currencies because you live in the UK.

its obv gonna be keeping roll in diff currencies and tables/tournaments remaining USD (and it'll just automatically convert your base currency to and from USD as you play so you'll effectively just be playing in your base currency at stakes that just happen to vary slightly every day)

and i'll sidebet my left nut that both GBP and EUR will be offered when this comes out. i can't wait anyhou, will be so good

i dont see how that's not true. you put $200 as USD into EUR. you have €142. EUR goes up from 1.4 USD to 1.5 then convert back to USD and you will have $213. Am I getting something wrong here? ($13 profit)

Players will be allowed to keep seperate balances in multiple currencies, within the same account - everyone will have a USD balance, but you'll be able to simultaneously hold balances in other currencies too. and i got a feeling it really will be free, or close enough to free at least. because unlike FTP, pokerstars gives great rates (almost 1:1 with google) when you cashout from USD to AUD because they exchange it to your currency first before sending it on to the payment merchant, whereas most other sites just send ur cashout in USD and u get charged a big fat 2.5% fee

So could someone become a 'day trader' by transferring currency back and forth based on what the exchange rate is?

i guess it really depends on how often they update the currency changes throughout the day

lol no pokerstars will probably take a cut on every exchange transaction they make making it non profitable for us but very profitable for them

It will be good because you can diversify and not have all your eggs in one basket sort to speak, even tho if the dollar collapses the Euro and GBP will be affected too prolly but its also good for no exchange fees if you are cashing out to another currency account, its just good any way you look at it and even if it wasnt it certainly isnt bad in any way.

there won't be different tables in different currencies.

They will do it similar to victor chandler (ipoker). You will have your poker wallet in $ + your main wallt in € (for example). Everytime you go to a table you exchange money from the main wallet to the poker wallet. After you quit the table you will exchange the money back at the SAME rate.

Of course they want to offer euro tables, they can keep charging max 3 rake but then in euro. Makes sense for them since the USD keeps devaluating and them being much more euro focussed nowadays.

That cut is called rake. We already pay them that fee through rake (hint hint why cashing out and all other transactions are free) so I don't think they will be charging anything. They will however probably do something like allow only once currency change per day or something to prevent abuse/people using it for trading as that is obviously not the intention.

afaik it's something that's being planned for the future, they just accidently included the early stages of the software that works around it in their last update.

new currency tables would be HORRIBLE, it would split the players
