also not to mention a lot of his billion dollar tours were half to charity, and he bought all the rights to all of the beatles songs which really was one of the greatest business moves anyone could have made. McCartney made an offer to buy them back and he said f that and sold HALF the rights to Sony for 300 MILLION dollars.
edit: thriller and smooth criminal, nuff said. man in the mirror is da shit as well. any song he ever did was art and better then any mortal could imagine as a solo. sorry for ranting but i have done music my whole life but know that no one that was as real as him when it came to putting out quality then mj. never really was a fan but have always had the upmost respect for him even through him being crazy and his controversy with children. as he is now dead i just feel it necessary to put my word out there. also what a lot of people don't know is that the beat in a lot of his songs is him beat boxing and then looping for him to sing to.

Musical genius or not the man was a disease. No amount of fucked up life or upbringing excuses abuse of children. Sure he worked hard and was denied a childhood, but life with $50 mil at your beck and call is not as hard a life as pimping your sister to put bread on the table. We make chioces in life and suffer from those choices we make. I would rather celebrate a mother who raises her children through adversity on a shoestring budget rather than a flawed musical genius.

Wait I'm sorry, he was convicted and sentenced?
No you are right he was never convicted, but neither was OJ. You don't pay hush money to people because you don't want the world to find out that you like licorice iceacream.

Michael was awesome. Kind of shocked over the death still.
However, it seems that it was the best option for him - he was stuck and owed everyone. Forced into 50 concerts when he couldn't even perform one, heh.
He seemed to be a good-hearted but a very naive person and the naivety is what made it impossible for him to survive his own stardom.

Also! My first post in about 2 years? Been a while!
hm.

Looks like it was oxycotins and some other medications that were mixed up
His doctors tryin to cover his ass, but obv he was giving michael anything he asked for, probably got the stronger drugs for michael off the record to save his ass if something like this ever happened
hard to relate this to anything but drugs tbh

I have a confession to make
when I heard MJ died I was definitely sad and paid my respects in my own way
but then that turned into aggravation as almost everyone I knew kept gossiping, bringing up his death over and over as it was on the media for 3 days and so they constantly asked me what I thought and my reply was always towards something of the war in Iraq/Afghan and the troops there etc and where is the news or passion for that? You don't really hear anything about it anymore since Obama do you
anyhow, this final rehearsal video has been released, I just saw it and now I feel bad because I had forgotten how much he did love this country and people
RIP Michael Jackson
you will be missed

He would have never made it through those concerts alive anyway. He must have had 20 injections before being able to make those weak dances.
Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you!

Heard all his albums are getting sold like crazy atm. And his albums are up there in the top100.
I think anyone getting his music now is a fraud. The quality of the music doesn't change, if you didn't appreciate it before, why do so now?
Because they were never exposed to it until they started to youtube his music after he died?
he's also like one of the highest selling solo artists of all time, so the fact that his albums are in the top 100 doesn't mean that there is a new appreciation because he died. Tons of people always loved his music.
