Where are they getting this number for total bet? I thought the wager was just 1.5 million to 500K. Where are they getting 18 million from? Is that the combined size of their bankrolls? |
Its just the total amount of money that has been bet. Like the sum of all preflop, flop, turn and river bets from both players |

my guess to where they get the "total bet" from is actually how much $ has been moved into the pot by these guys, ie. bets, raises, blinds.... etc
i mean just the blinds alone adds up to almost $1m
not entirely sure though |

I've seen some ridiculously good hands from both sides, but also some not-so-great, esp from Patrik. I believe that 4 tables hu are a bit too much for him right now. That's basically the catch of Durrrr's challenge. Very few people can beat him on 4 tables. But I guess that Patrik will get used to it after 2-3 days and overall the difference won't be that great.

I heard Ivey is practicing multi-tabling to try to lower that edge. |

Tbh it looks like Patrik is calling Durrrr's 3 bets preflop WAY, WAY to light ;o he's calling almost most of them, at least when I was watching ;o |

Of course he's gonna call the 3bets - this is omaha.
I think Patrik's river bluff is ridiculous, the backdoor flush came - there is nothing Durrrr could have peeled the turn that won't call now. (he must have at least a set and he aint folding it with those odds) |

i dont think you're allowed to fold to 3b in omaha headsup |

I'm not good at Omaha, but I'd guess that if they're opening at close to 100%, they can fold about 10-15% of the hands that simply have NO potential - stuff like 2267 or something. I'm sure it won't be a mistake to defend as low as 80% to a 3bet, but lower than that youre probably losing EV, seeing how most hands have significant equity, you have 1-2 pot odds and position. |

This has been awesome to follow. What about the actual reasoning behind durrrr's proposition? Does he actually think he has enough of an edge against Antonius to justify laying 2:1 odds? I'm wondering what's kept other players from jumping headlong into this challenge.
I have a bad feeling that this will all end in lame controversy, though. |
