what are you talking about. Antonius is up 12 buyins. Yeah lot of hands left to play but still looks good for Antonius considering he plays this solid.
|
And as you know, on the long run, they'll win the same amount of big pots.
|
I know Brian Hastings did some in depth analysis of the matchup, but i still think this is a really big assumption. |
Yes and that analysis was based on a sample of 1400 hands.
|
You dont think 1400 hands is enough to make a reasonable assessment about preflop play in hu plo? |

Generally people don't know too much about statistics and convergence's question. |

Well it was more as a general statement, 1400 hands is not enough for a in depth analysis of certain postflop plays. So yes, I think 1400 is too little, maybe not when it comes solely to preflop-play, but certainly on later streets.
Im not neglecting the fact that PA only opened 70% of his hands on the button, but it was also early on in the matchup, and they have played like 10k hands after this, which we havent analysed.
And i'm not sure what you are implying Patrocle, since I have a pretty good grasp about statistics (degree in it as well, if that matters). |

oops, not the typical person I was aiming.
I'd be so happy to see the same analysis after 10 or 20k hands. |
