Things to do in NYC

I'm going to New York next week, and i'm gonna be there for 16 days. I'm looking for some recommendations of things to do or see while i'm there. I've never been before and I might end up being too lazy to do any actual research so please include even the obvious stuff. Thanks in advance.

The only real notable thing I've done in NY is go to Blue Ribbon Sushi @ Soho and being charged $300 for two pple LOL

Definitely go to Central Park, Times Square, Wall St (touch bull's balls ! ), and 5th Avenue to do some shopping. I spent there only 3 days but I've heard that Madame Tausads gallery and Modern Art Museum are worth seeing (if I'm not wrong on Friday entry to every museum is free)

Well, apart from the obvious crap like empire building etc etc id take the ferry ride to staten island, go to pier 5 mall, and take a helicopter ride across manhattan, visit the ice rink in central park, take a boat ride round manhattan. Visit the gracie jiu jitsu club!!!

did they ever build that WTC memorial or w/e?

Visit Williamsburg and be amazed at how many hipsters there are.

whenever i go i usually get a sandwich at katz deli on the lower east side

um stop hatin on my hood. sure beats gay ridge and the hour commute.

the hipsters are being slowly pushed out and they actually live in bushwick but just hang out in williamsburg. mostly euros and well paid professionals in creative fields live in williamsburg right now.

Definitely go to Blue Ribbon for some nice sushi. It shouldnt set u back more than around $150 for two, unless u ball out of control.

Plenty of strip clubs and bars around the city to keep u bussy for the whole 16 days.

Make sure to eat out frequently. New York has the best food in the world.

OK i fyou do go, DO NOT order individual pieces, just go for the platters they're a lotttttttttttt better value.

dude not gonna lie i had a great time at this place called the gotham comedy club which was cheap as hell and had pretty notable performers...look it up

Museums. I wasnt gonna mention em but seeing the general degeneracy going on in this thread i think i should.
Museums in NYC are amazing, im not a cultural nut by any means, but it is just so astonishing to look at the exhibits, im going to met later tonight for example.

What im trying to say the exhibits are really accessible, and you dont have to read fat history tomes to enjoy their beauty.

ive been to new york only once (i was under 21 then ;-( , here are some things i recommend:
-jogging in central park
- get last minute tickets for a random broadway show
- watch an NBA game (i saw ney yersey though, not the knicks)
- go to a few museums. i liked the MoMa and especially the american museum of natural history
