I just saw this on digg, its pretty cool. I hate traveling with only my laptop cuz the screen is visually 2 small and doesnt have enough pixels.. I always contemplate shoving a monitor in my suitcase but im afraid it will get broken..
This could be a sick replacement for the average poker player on the go, if your at all like me, when im traveling and trying to play poker im either in a hotel or at a friends house and have space and power.. so this is a sick idea.. Price is very good 2, starts at 1K but you can get upgrades like blue ray and crazy shit..
The 21inch screen comes with 1920x1080 resolution (which is very close to a 24in monitor)
heres the rest of the info.

does this thing have a carrying case or something? i think this is great for me. my laptop is kinda gay, non-wide 15inch type, but i also hate my desktop coz i keep changing locations at home and it's a bitch moving all the wires and shit
these types of things are pretty horrible for performance-gamer/poker types
if u dont give a fuck though, w/e

How can you carry that thing in your bag?
And how is that any different from the average desktop of that HP,Sony,Apple sells?

umm i think it would be easy to pack it in a suitcase around ur clothes or w/e with some pads, when my computer finally craps out im gonna get one of these and ill find a easy way... i think the shape is alot differnt then the apple and HP one, its the most slim and smallest

yeah you can get laptops with 1920x1200, i guess the physical size is bigger, but i dont really see how this is immune to breaking when youre worried abouit a monitor breaking

do any laptops exist that are above 17" and actually show 1920x1200? from what i remember the bigger ones only came in lower screen resolutions for some annoying reason. if thats still the case i would then def prefer a solid 17in wuxga to a slightly bigger screen with some lower res
also i have an absolute top spec dell xps m1730. yeah it may be a bulky behemoth of a laptop that weighs a ridic amt and is pretty much a desktop replacement (I use it as my main computer for everything and hook it up to 30in monitor when at home) but its still only a 17". And the xps carrying backpack that comes with it (which is very nice btw, don't buy an xps without adding on the optional backpack, you will definitely need it) is ONLY JUST EXACTLY the maximum permissable size it can be to be allowed as hand luggage on flights and fit in the overhead storage compartments. extrapolating from that id say theres a pretty slim-to-none chance you can take around these things in hand luggage which imo makes them not an option for travelling. whatever you do, don't put a computer thru check in luggage.

Similar to the Dell M2010 right?
Though, not sure if they came out with a new model yet cuz this is a couple years old already...

that dell 2010 has a pitiful 1680x1050 res, pitiful for poker
edit: and probably doesnt fit in hand luggage either. if thats a legit concern for you as it is for me then 17" is as high as you go (which right now is just as well anyway cause there doesnt look to be anything good higher

agree about optional backbacks with huge laptops. I got the alienware M17x and it is enormous and weighs a lot but the backpack stores it perfectly along with a power cable and some extras like your mouse etc. Also you can carry this backpack along with another smaller carryon that has your clothes and stuff in it if you dont like to check your bags to save time.

yea there are alot of high res laptops out there, but they all have 17" screens and they are all really expensive, this for 1K is cheap, has good stats, and i know i could ship one.. might not be a carry on, but you could put it in one of those metal cases for camera gear and stuff, and hell, bring your laptop as carry on in case ur luggage gets lost.
