yea there are alot of high res laptops out there, but they all have 17" screens and they are all really expensive, this for 1K is cheap, has good stats, and i know i could ship one.. might not be a carry on, but you could put it in one of those metal cases for camera gear and stuff, and hell, bring your laptop as carry on in case ur luggage gets lost.

17inch with 1920x1200 laptops start from like $900. in the UK! so US u should get them for like $600
