i call cuz it's 3bet pot and we have top pair where he could just be spazzing out but i'm not to happy about it

dont tap the glass...im about ready to take a fucking hammer to the aquarium

I think I probably fold. You're not that far ahead of like random hands with high clubs, ala KcX or AcX , etc. And if he has 2 overs with a club then you're behind. Also you're way behind 1010c and JJ and all higher pairs that he could flat twice because its full ring.

Do you even know what DK stands for?

It was a bad call looking in retrospective, when this is done I should've taken a note folded and proceeded more carefully against him.

But...

i think the raise was a bit too risky/aggressive i would have raised less if i were to raise otherwise flat call and proceed carefull post flop

palak   United States. Jan 07 2009 01:48. Posts 4601

he's retarted...don't worry bout this hand...u should certainly take all his money later

this is an instafold, most of the time these guys are coldcalling with big pairs
i've had enough experience myself when i squeeze in these spots, get coldcalled, and get shoved on/shoved over.

fold

u r flipping or you are behind most of the time

bober1   United States. Jan 07 2009 15:41. Posts 666

i would expect this mostly to be a fish spazzing out with a pair that beats you that doesn't have a club.

asdf2000   United States. Jan 07 2009 15:53. Posts 7710

I actually didn't see that this is fullring. being fullring i would snap fold it

but if this was 6handed yes i would snap call

so either way snapping is going to happen

i think some of the worse hands in his range are mid pps and AcX sorta no pair hands and i dont think we have enough ev even against em

I am surprised that so many people are willing to call this. Basically, you are HOPING for a draw. That will likely come with overcards, making this a flip, and one where you are not the favorite if they have 2 overs. Calling an overbet praying for a flip is a never a winning proposition.

I'm not calling, and if he check I check behind too.

True   Finland. Jan 08 2009 13:07. Posts 843

even if you have a read that he is a retard this is a fold, you very very rarely dominate and are often behind/flipping

I am a NL25 player so take my advice/comments in that perspective
