Everyone covered most of the awesome ones, but one i wanted to add is The Wire. Best show nobody's ever heard of. Most interesting part is how closely its based on reality. Mainly its a cop show based in Baltimore dealing with ghetto culture but gets into politics, ports, unions, schools and journalism.
